Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that the 'Mahayuti' alliance will secure victory in the forthcoming assembly elections, instilling confidence in a Thane crowd late Sunday night. He paid tribute to his mentors, Anand Dighe and Bal Thackeray, affirming that his Shiv Sena leadership remains true to their principles.
The CM passionately addressed the audience, highlighting the grand alliance of Shiv Sena, BJP, and NCP, and its strong stance against the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition. He dismissed his political opponents, emphasizing the ongoing efforts of his government.
Shinde detailed various initiatives, including apprenticeships for educated youth and financial aid for higher education. He shared an emotional story about waiving education fees for girls. Moreover, he committed to continuing and expanding schemes like the 'Ladki Bahin' cash transfer program. Shinde subsequently inaugurated the second phase of Gaimukh Chowpatty and announced memorials for Shivaji Maharaj and Kanhoji Angre.
