INLD & BSP Alliance Gears Up for Haryana Assembly Polls
The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have announced their candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls, scheduled for October 5. The alliance, led by former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, aims to challenge the ruling BJP. INLD leader Abhay Chautala is the projected chief ministerial candidate, with BSP contesting 37 out of 90 seats.

The Indian National Lok Dal's Haryana unit president Rampal Majra will contest the October 5 assembly polls from Kalayat in Kaithal district as the INLD, led by former chief minister Om Prakash Chautala, announced the names of seven more candidates on Sunday.
Forming an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), which recently released its first list of four candidates, the INLD revealed its own contenders, including Sheela Rathi from Bahadurgarh. She is the widow of Nafe Singh Rathi, the former state president of INLD who was tragically murdered in February.
According to the party list, senior INLD leader Abhay Singh Chautala's son, Arjun Singh Chautala, will run from Rania in Sirsa district. Other announced candidates include former MLA Sher Singh Barshami from Ladwa, Umed Lohan from Narnaund, Taiyab Hussain Bhimsika from Hathin, and Master Gurtej Singh Sukhchain from the Kalanwali (SC) seat. Party supremo Om Prakash Chautala approved all candidate selections.
