BJP Finalizes Candidates for Haryana Assembly Polls

The BJP's Central Election Committee convened on Thursday to finalize the party's candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections scheduled for October 1.

Top leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President J P Nadda, deliberated on the probable list of nominees. Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Manohar Lal Khattar, along with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, were also present.

Earlier, senior BJP leaders held a meeting at Nadda's residence to discuss potential candidates. Haryana BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli and former state home minister Anil Vij were also involved in the discussions.

The 90-member Haryana Assembly is set for elections on October 1, with vote counting on October 4.
