A 50-year-old sanitary hardware shop owner was allegedly killed by a property dealer in Shahdara, an officer reported on Friday. The victim, Rishi, who also worked as a plumber, was called for a meeting at a realtor's office in Balbir Nagar Chowk, Shahdara, to discuss work-related dissatisfaction.

During the meeting, a dispute arose, and before others could intervene, the dealer, Amit Madaan, struck Rishi with a rod. Rishi's family rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared dead.

A murder case has been registered, and police are searching for the absconding suspect. CCTV footage of the incident has been recovered, and investigations are ongoing.
