Clashes Erupt in Howrah During 'Nabanna Abhijaan'

Police employed lathi-charge, water cannons, and tear gas to disperse the crowd, who retaliated by throwing stones and bricks, attempting to topple barricades.

The protestors, demanding the resignation of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over a rape-murder incident, breached barricades, leading to intensified police action.
