In a scathing attack, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami accused Congress of forging an alliance with the National Conference for the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir due to its 'lust for power'.

Dhami questioned Rahul Gandhi and the Congress, demanding explanations for their decision to ally with the National Conference and its leadership, which he alleged had 'ruined' Jammu and Kashmir over three decades by promoting separatism and terrorism.

Dhami also critiqued Congress' past actions, describing the party as always prioritizing power over the nation's unity and integrity. He highlighted the pre-poll arrangement ahead of the assembly elections scheduled for September.
