Andhra Pradesh BJP leader Lanka Dinakar on Saturday fiercely criticized Congress party's decision to form a pre-poll alliance with the Jammu Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), alleging that this move challenges the spirit of national integrity.

Dinakar stated that the newly forged alliance in poll-bound Jammu Kashmir jeopardizes peace and harmony and poses a ''threat'' to India's sovereignty.

At a press conference at the BJP's office in Vijayawada, Dinakar questioned if Congress respects India's national flag or supports a separate flag for Jammu and Kashmir, as allegedly promised by the JKNC. He accused the Farooq Abdullah-led JKNC of encouraging Jammu & Kashmir's youth to indulge in stone pelting rather than focusing on employment and business opportunities. Dinakar asserted that Congress' divisive politics across states needs to be exposed.
