The state BJP leadership has taken a significant step forward in the upcoming Haryana polls by shortlisting five names for each of the 90 assembly seats. These shortlisted candidates will be sent to the party's parliamentary board for the final selection, according to a party member.

The BJP's State Election Committee meticulously selected the candidates during a rigorous two-day meeting held at the party's district office in Gurugram. The meeting, which took place from 8 am to 8 pm on both days, saw the active participation of several party leaders who sought extensive feedback from party workers from each assembly constituency.

Party strategists focused first on the assembly seats of Gurugram, Faridabad, Nuh, Rewari, and Palwal before moving on to discuss other districts. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed confidence in the BJP forming the government for the third consecutive term with a significant victory margin. Additionally, State election in-charge and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan declared the readiness of BJP for the elections.
