Modi heralded his visit as historic and emphasized India's commitment to peace. He expressed gratitude to the Government and citizens of Ukraine for their hospitality through a post on social media platform X. Modi called for both Ukraine and Russia to engage in dialogue without delay.

Marking the first Indian prime ministerial visit to Ukraine since its 1991 independence, Modi presented BHISHM Cubes to the Ukrainian government, paid respects at the National Museum of History of Ukraine, and interacted with students at the School of Oriental Studies in Kyiv, applauding their efforts to bridge Indian and Ukrainian cultures.
