The Karnataka Congress Legislature Party (CLP) gathered on Thursday to voice unanimous support for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah following the governor's decision to approve his prosecution related to the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) site allotment scam.

The meeting, attended by CM Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM D K Shivakumar, party legislators, and MPs, heavily criticized Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot's actions, accusing him of playing politics at the behest of the BJP.

CM Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar plan to visit New Delhi to discuss the issue with senior party leaders. ''All our legislators have unanimously stood by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah,'' Shivakumar told reporters.
