The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially stated it will not enter into any pre-poll alliances in Jammu and Kashmir, according to state party president Ravinder Raina.
Although no alliances are planned, discussions are ongoing with 8 to 10 independent candidates in the Kashmir Valley, aiming for a collaborative election strategy. Raina emphasized the party's readiness for the Assembly elections and plans to announce its first list of candidates shortly.
Raina also mentioned that Choudhary Zulfikar Ali, a prominent leader with substantial support in the Rajouri-Poonch belt, has joined the BJP, providing a significant boost.
