Nepal's Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba will embark on a five-day visit to India starting this Sunday, as officials seek to bolster bilateral ties between the neighboring countries.

Deuba is slated to engage in extensive discussions with India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday, officials stated.

This visit happens just a week after India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri's diplomatic mission to Kathmandu, signifying the crucial strategic relationship between the two nations.

Nepal is a key neighbor for India, particularly given its strategic interests, and leaders from both countries have underscored their age-old 'Roti Beti' relationship.

The country shares an 1,850 km border with five Indian states and relies heavily on India for transport of goods and services, emphasizing their interdependence.
