Former JD(U) leader and ex-Bihar Congress chief Ram Jatan Sinha returned to the Congress fold on Wednesday, pledging to fortify the party's organization.

In a ceremony at the AICC headquarters, Sinha rejoined in the presence of CWC member and Rajya Sabha MP Syed Naseer Hussain, AICC publicity and media department head Pawan Khera, and Bihar Congress chief Akhilesh Prasad Singh. Sinha left the Congress in 2012 and joined JD(U) in 2019, departing the next year over poll ticket issues.

'I will work towards strengthening the organization in the state,' Sinha declared. CWC member Hussain emphasized that many former MLAs and MPs are returning to Congress, sensing a shift in political dynamics. Concurrently, Khera remarked on Sinha's enduring connection with the party. Bihar Congress chief Singh highlighted Sinha's influential leadership during his tenure, expressing optimism for the upcoming assembly elections under his guidance.
