BJP leader Nalin Kohli has openly criticized the Hindenburg report and its allegations against SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Buch, asserting that statements from private firms should not be supported. Kohli questioned whether people's faith in the Supreme Court has waned and speculated that these accusations could be part of a larger conspiracy aimed at destabilizing India's economy and democratic processes.

According to Kohli, it is the responsibility of all political entities, especially the opposition, not to support such statements. He specifically called out the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi, warning that endorsing such claims could send a message that undermines India's democracy and economic stability.

On the other side, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has expressed concerns about the integrity of the Indian stock market following the allegations against SEBI's chairperson. Gandhi questioned who would be held accountable if investors lose their money, and demanded that SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Buch resign. He also urged the Supreme Court to take up the matter independently and called for a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe, accusing Prime Minister Modi of fearing what such an investigation might uncover.
