Yechury, who was 72, passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi after a prolonged illness. Senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh remembered him as a seasoned parliamentarian known for his knowledge and articulation.
Home Minister Amit Shah and other Union ministers, including Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal, also expressed their heartfelt condolences, acknowledging Yechury's dedication and service to the nation.
