Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh criticized RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's ambitions to become Bihar's Chief Minister, stating it was not in Yadav's destiny. Singh likened Yadav's political strategies to 'building castles in the air' and dismissed his prospects.

Yadav had earlier claimed that the continuance of Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister would only benefit the RJD in the forthcoming assembly elections. He accused Kumar of aiding 'divisive' forces like the RSS and BJP.

Reacting to Singh's remarks, BPCC President Akhilesh Prasad Singh and RJD spokesperson Chitranjan Gagan defended Yadav, emphasizing that the people will decide their political leaders, hinting at a strong support base for Yadav in the 2025 assembly polls.
