Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia visited the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place on Saturday, a day after his release from jail.

The Supreme Court granted Sisodia bail on Friday in connection with corruption and money laundering cases tied to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam, citing his 17-month incarceration without trial as a deprivation of his right to speedy justice.

Accompanied by AAP leaders like MP Sanjay Singh and ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj, Sisodia was greeted by scores of party workers, who raised slogans of 'Jai Sri Ram' and 'Jai Hanuman' upon his arrival. Sisodia prayed for the well-being of Delhi residents and expressed hopes for the release of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is also imprisoned in the same case.
