In the aftermath of the Supreme Court's decision to proceed with the NEET-UG 2024 exam, Congress leader Manickam Tagore voiced strong criticism on Wednesday against Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan via social media, labeling him 'shameless.' Tagore also blamed Pradhan for deflecting responsibility amid allegations of exam paper leaks.

Tagore's response came after Pradhan's post on social media platform 'X,' wherein the Minister accused Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi of playing with the sentiments of students and parents concerning the NEET-UG controversy. Pradhan hailed the Supreme Court's decision as a relief for honest students and a validation of the Indian examination system.

BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad joined the fray, challenging Rahul Gandhi to apologize for previously calling the examination system a 'fraud.' This follows the Supreme Court's declaration that the NEET-UG exam held on May 5 showed no systemic breaches, thereby dismissing calls for its cancellation.
