Jackal Attack Injures Seven in Jehanabad District Villages
Seven people, including two children, were injured in a jackal attack in the Jehanabad district's Suswar and Pansoli villages. Initially, a wolf pack was suspected, but it was confirmed to be a jackal. Authorities are on alert, and the injured have been hospitalized.

Seven individuals, including two children, sustained injuries in a jackal attack in the Jehanabad district's Suswar and Pansoli villages on Saturday.
The incident, which occurred early in the morning as villagers were heading to the fields, initially led locals to believe that a pack of wolves was responsible. However, Divisional Forest Officer Manish Singh later confirmed that a jackal was behind the attack.
The injured, comprising five men and two children aged nine and three, were promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police, administrative officials, and forest department teams arrived at the scene to investigate. The forest department has heightened its alertness following the occurrence. Local MP Jitin Prasada has also communicated with the villagers regarding the situation.
