Senior BJP leader Raosaheb Danve has accused the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) of disseminating false information regarding the Maharashtra government's 'Mazi Ladki Bahin' scheme, which provides Rs 1,500 monthly to eligible women. He urged women to submit their applications exclusively through government officials, cautioning against misinformation from opposition workers.

Addressing reporters, the former Union minister stated, 'The Maha Vikas Aghadi is attempting to discredit the state government through the 'Mazi Ladki Bahin' Yojana. People should be cautious of opposition leaders and workers and ensure they use only official channels for submitting application forms.'

Danve revealed that the BJP core committee recently reviewed the preparedness of the ruling Mahayuti alliance for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly polls. He alleged that the MVA is mainly motivated by the pursuit of the chief minister's chair, and questioned the voters' trust in the opposition alliance.
