Bill Ackman Endorses Donald Trump Amidst Campaign Rally Incident

Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman has thrown his support behind former President Donald Trump in the upcoming U.S. presidential race. The endorsement was publicized on social media platform X shortly after Trump sustained an injury during a campaign rally.

'I just endorsed him,' Ackman wrote on X following the incident where Trump was shot in the right ear. 'But you know me. I write long posts on important topics. I want people to understand my thinking so it means more and helps others get to the right place,' he added.

Reports from Reuters indicate that Ackman had been contemplating the endorsement as far back as May. Despite planning to publicize his decision on multiple media outlets, a spokesperson for Ackman did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment.
