Safety at Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is deteriorating following a drone strike that hit the road around the perimeter on Saturday, said International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general Rafael Grossi.
The Russian management of the plant stated that a Ukrainian drone dropped an explosive charge on a road outside the plant, endangering staff who use the highway, according to the TASS state news agency.
The incident raises significant concerns about the security and operational safety of the nuclear facility, which sits in a conflict zone.
