The Uttar Pradesh BJP is set to hold a significant state working committee meeting in Lucknow on Sunday morning, following its recent performance in the Lok Sabha elections. This will be the first such meeting after the party secured fewer seats than anticipated.

The session, scheduled to begin at 11.00 am at the Lohia Auditorium and run until 5.00 pm, will feature the participation of BJP President JP Nadda. The meeting will be initiated by state president Bhupendra Chaudhary and culminate with a speech by National President JP Nadda. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also on the agenda to address the committee.

The working committee meeting will be split into two sessions, concluding with the passage of a political proposal. Discussions will include upcoming by-elections, a review of the Lok Sabha elections, and the future path forward for the party. The session will involve all party delegates.

Apart from the top national and state leaders, a large contingent of party members including both Deputy Chief Ministers, central ministers from Uttar Pradesh, MPs, MLAs, and various office bearers will be in attendance. The session is expected to see the largest turnout from Mandal Presidents, who number over 1,900 statewide, along with other key organizational leaders and functionaries.
