Customs Uncover Drug Smuggling at Mumbai Airport
Authorities at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport seized hydroponic weed worth Rs 14.9 crore from two passengers coming from Bangkok. The suspects had hidden 14.9 kg of the drug in cartons inside their luggage. Both individuals were arrested under the NDPS Act, with investigations ongoing.

Customs officials at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport seized hydroponic weed valued at Rs 14.9 crore, arresting two passengers who arrived from Bangkok on Friday.
According to an official, the narcotics were discovered concealed in cartons within the passengers' luggage following a tip-off. A total of 14.9 kg of the contraband was intercepted.
The passengers now face charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, with a thorough investigation underway to identify their intended recipients.
