Young Brazilian Sensation Joins Saudi Pro League
17-year-old Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Carvalho has signed with Saudi Pro League's Al Qadsiah. He will join in August, continuing at Internacional until then. The transfer follows negotiations concluded in December, with the player moving to Saudi Arabia after turning 18, adhering to FIFA regulations.
Saudi Pro League's Al Qadsiah has announced the signing of Gabriel Carvalho, a 17-year-old Brazilian midfielder, from Internacional. Carvalho's move adds another promising young talent to a league already featuring stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. He shall join Al Qadsiah in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The third-placed club stated on the X social media platform that Carvalho will officially join them in August, as per the transfer agreement. Until then, Carvalho will continue his stint at Internacional, where he began his career at the age of nine.
The negotiations, concluded on December 30, ensure Carvalho's transition to the Saudi club after he turns 18, as per FIFA regulations. Last season, Carvalho made notable contributions with one goal and three assists in his 26 appearances for the Brazilian side.
