A British court has ruled in favor of police seizing over 2 million pounds from the accounts of influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, citing unpaid taxes.
According to the Devon and Cornwall Police, the funds, held across seven frozen bank accounts, evaded tax authorities, with significant transactions funneled into an account under the alias 'J'.
The chief magistrate at Westminster Magistrates' Court labeled the transactions a 'straightforward cheat' after the brothers reportedly pocketed 21 million pounds from online businesses without tax compliance. The Tates deny the allegations as civil proceedings heighten ahead of their potential extradition to the UK for further charges.
