Consultations are ongoing with senior counsel and experts to file an appeal following court orders upholding the Governor's sanction for an investigation against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) site allotment case. An advisor revealed on Thursday that the Special Court's order sets the stage for registering an FIR against the Chief Minister.

The decision by Special Court Judge Santhosh Gajanan Bhat came just a day after a High Court single judge bench upheld the Governor's sanction for an investigation into allegations of illegal site allotments to Siddaramaiah's wife, B M Parvathi, by MUDA.

Congress MLA, senior advocate, and the Chief Minister's legal advisor A S Ponnanna emphasized the need to rectify legal lapses, noting ongoing consultations on potential appeals. Ponnanna also criticized the case as 'politically motivated,' asserting that any investigation would ultimately reveal the truth.
