Three months after Monu Kalyane, a BJYM vice-president from Indore, was shot dead, his wife, Deepika Kalyane, has been found dead, police report. She was discovered hanging in their home on Wednesday.

Initial checks suggest that Deepika, 28, took her own life using a sari. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ramsanehi Mishra, no suicide note was discovered at the scene, and authorities are examining the case from various perspectives.

Monu Kalyane, 35, was killed due to an old rivalry in June, leading to the arrest of neighbours Arjun and Piyush Pathrod.
