Mystery Surrounds Discovery of Man's Body in Farmland

Vinod Patel, a 30-year-old resident of Mujahidpur village, was found dead in a rice field with head injuries. Police are investigating the case, and the body has been sent for an autopsy.

A 30-year-old man was found dead in a farmland on Monday morning, police said.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar Singh identified the deceased as Vinod Patel, a resident of Mujahidpur village. Villagers discovered his body in a rice field around 6:30 am. The local Sandipan Ghat police, along with a field unit, arrived promptly at the scene.

'The deceased had gone out from his home the previous night and did not return,' Singh stated, adding that the matter is being investigated further. The body has been sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
