An 85-year-old man's grave was desecrated in Khari village with the skull removed, prompting an investigation into a possible black magic case, local authorities revealed on Monday.

Locals discovered the grave robbery when they went to the cemetery to offer 'fatiha' (Islamic prayer). Spotting the dug-up grave and missing skull, they immediately notified law enforcement, according to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sanjeev Bajpai.
