Mumbai Police Arrest Man for Overseas Job Scam
Mumbai police arrested Krishna Tripathi, who allegedly ran a fraudulent overseas job agency, providing fake work permits to aspirants. Authorities seized various items including cash and electronic devices. Further investigation is ongoing.

The crime branch of Mumbai police has apprehended a man for reportedly defrauding several overseas job seekers, an official disclosed on Saturday. The accused, identified as Krishna Tripathi (52), operated an agency named E Axis Immigration Services located in Andheri.
Tripathi's arrest on Friday followed allegations of cheating and forgery, leading to charges under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS). Authorities allege he provided counterfeit work permit letters to those seeking employment abroad. Seizures from his office included 55 SIM cards, eight laptops, a desktop, two mobile phones, Rs 1.22 lakh in cash, and various documents.
The investigation is still ongoing.
