Police forces in Delhi-NCR have successfully apprehended two criminal gangs linked to multiple robbery operations following intense encounters. A joint team from Phase-III police station arrested four individuals after a dramatic chase and confrontation near Garhi Gol Chakkar. The suspects, identified as Dhirendra alias Veer Singh, Purushottam, Imran alias Chacha, and Sudhir Gupta, opened fire upon realizing they were cornered. The police returned fire, injuring three of the criminals before capturing all four. The gang admitted to more than a dozen robberies in the region and revealed a network for selling stolen phones.

In a parallel incident, police in Greater Noida arrested four other suspects accused of robbing a food company van driver. The robbers, identified as Bunty Tyagi, Manav, Umesh, and Brijesh, had stolen Rs 1.09 lakh by brandishing weapons. Acting on a tip-off, the Surajpur police intercepted the gang's SUV, leading to another shootout where the police shot Brijesh in the leg, eventually securing the arrest of all suspects and recovering the stolen funds and weapons.

The swift and coordinated police actions across Delhi-NCR underscore a robust law enforcement response to rising criminal activities, effectively dismantling these robbery networks and restoring a sense of security among residents.
