Father Arrested for Assaulting Daughter in Thane

A man in Thane, Maharashtra, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his 21-year-old daughter over her love affair. Bablu Rathod Mandal, 45, was taken into custody after the woman filed a complaint. The incident involved abduction and severe physical assault, resulting in the daughter sustaining fractures.

A 45-year-old man was arrested in Thane, Maharashtra, for reportedly assaulting his daughter with a metal pipe due to her relationship, according to authorities.

The accused, Bablu Rathod Mandal, was detained following a complaint lodged by his 21-year-old daughter. He faces charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for assault and kidnapping, Assistant Police Inspector Sampat Phadol confirmed.

Authorities revealed that Mandal, along with an accomplice, allegedly abducted the woman while she was with her boyfriend. They then transported her to their home in Vashi, where she sustained fractures on her hands and legs due to the assault.
