Three individuals were taken into custody on Saturday for their alleged involvement in the murder of 25-year-old interior designer Tarun Panwar. Acting on information from the suspects, police recovered Panwar's right lower limb while continuing to search for the remaining body parts.
Panwar, who went missing from the Rajnagar extension area on August 16, was reportedly on his way to nearby Morta village. An FIR was registered by his brother-in-law Aman Swami the following day. His mobile phone had stopped functioning, raising immediate concerns.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar Singh disclosed that the suspects—identified as Pawan, Vansh, and Anjali—were arrested after an anonymous tip-off. The police seized a spade, a sickle, blood-stained mattresses, and two cars related to the crime. The investigation revealed a love triangle as the primary motive, with six additional suspects believed to be involved.
