Tragic Discovery of Missing Girl's Body in Luggage Bag Shocks Muzaffarpur

The body of a three-year-old girl, who had been missing since a day prior, was found inside a luggage bag near her home in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, police confirmed on Saturday.
The young girl, a resident of Nirala Niketan locality, left her home on Friday afternoon with her mother to attend a function but did not return. Her father reported that he lost contact with the mother as her phone was unreachable.
"Neighbors alerted the police about a suspicious luggage bag in the bushes near the family's home. Upon investigation, the child's body was discovered," stated Mithanpura police station SHO Ram Iqbal. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and efforts are underway to locate the mother, whose phone is now under surveillance.
