Man Booked in Connection with Woman Police Trainee's Suicide in Nagpur

A man in Nagpur, Maharashtra, has been charged in relation to the suicide of a woman police trainee, an official stated on Thursday.

Pratiksha Bhosle, 26, a trainee from Indapur, Pune, was found deceased on July 10 at the Police Training Centre in Surendranagar, according to the official.

Bhosle had hanged herself at the training centre's hostel on July 9. A suicide note was found, and based on a complaint by her mother, Niranjan Nalavde, 28, was booked. Investigations revealed Bhosle was distressed after Nalavde, her boyfriend, married another woman.
