In a shocking turn of events, two BJP workers in Maharashtra's Jalna district have been accused of assaulting a Congress member, drawing widespread condemnation. The altercation occurred at the Jafrabad tehsil office and a video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.

According to police, Pramod Fadat, a 33-year-old resident of Borgaon in Jafrabad tehsil, had filed a complaint against Sagar Lokhande and his brother Chetan for alleged illegal mining activities. The Lokhande brothers, who run a stone crusher plant, confronted Fadat at the tehsil office regarding his complaint.

The confrontation quickly escalated into a physical fight. Despite efforts from a nayab tehsildar and bystanders to intervene, the situation intensified until local police arrived and rescued Fadat. A case has since been registered against the Lokhande brothers under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections at the Jafrabad police station.
