Worker Grievously Injured by Dumper at Maharashtra Railway Station

In a tragic incident at Maharashtra's Palghar district, a 36-year-old worker suffered grievous injuries on August 14. Ravi Gaikwad was run over by a dumper while conducting cabling work near a bridge at the Saphale station, Western Railway.
The accident left Gaikwad seriously injured and he was promptly admitted to a local hospital for urgent treatment. Authorities indicated that the incident occurred during routine maintenance activities.
Police have registered a case under section 125 (b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), holding the unidentified driver of the dumper accountable for endangering life and personal safety. Investigations are ongoing to identify the driver.
