A 26-year-old unemployed man was arrested by Mumbai Police on charges of molestation and stalking two minor sisters in the Khar area, an official reported on Wednesday.

The accused, identified as Aman Singh, resides in the same locality as the victims. On Tuesday afternoon, Singh followed a six-year-old girl to her house but fled upon seeing her parents. Her elder sister, aged 12, later revealed that Singh had previously stalked her.

Following a police complaint by the girls' parents, Singh was arrested on Tuesday night. He has been charged under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) for molestation, stalking, and trespassing, as well as under related sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act (POCSO), the official added.
