A local court has convicted a man for raping a seven-year-old and committing aggravated sexual assault on another minor in the Paharganj area in 2017. The court described the victim's testimonies as clear, trustworthy, and corroborated by other witnesses.
Additional Sessions Judge Rajesh Kumar found the evidence against the accused compelling. The accused was found guilty of raping one minor and outraging the modesty of and sexually assaulting the other.
The court ruled that the prosecution had proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt. The sentencing arguments will be heard later.
