Sanitation Worker Arrested for Molestation in Bhayander

A sanitation worker from Bhayander, identified as Rajendra Tushar, has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old girl inside a lift. Tushar also threatened the victim to keep silent. He is charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

A sanitation worker from Bhayander in Thane district has been apprehended on allegations of molesting a 12-year-old girl, according to a police official.

The accused, Rajendra Tushar, aged 58, was taken into custody on Wednesday. He allegedly committed the act inside a lift and subsequently threatened the minor to maintain silence, the official from Bhayander police station reported.

Authorities have charged Tushar under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
