Mumbai Police's cyber wing has taken two more individuals into custody for their involvement in a fraudulent website mimicking the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) official site, intending to cheat flat buyers, a police official confirmed Wednesday.

Graphic designer Omkar Chatur Shinde, aged 26, and software developer Satyam Rajesh Tiwari, aged 25, were arrested as per an announcement by an official from the BKC cyber cell. This follows the recent arrests of Kalpesh Sevak, the alleged creator of the fake website, and Amol Patel, who posed as an MHADA officer.

MHADA, known for selling flats in the Mumbai region at significantly reduced rates through a lottery system, reported the fake website to the police. The scammers were offering to sell flats in Goregaon for Rs 30 lakh, much lower than market rates. Police investigations are ongoing.
