Navi Mumbai Police have apprehended a 50-year-old Nigerian national, identified as Ifeanyi Uxoma Osondu, on charges of drug possession. The arrest took place in the Nerul area and involved a confiscation of cocaine valued at Rs 3 lakh.
The operation was executed on Tuesday night, following a specific tip-off provided to the authorities. During the arrest, police seized 20.85 grams of cocaine from the accused.
A case has been registered against Osondu under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigations are underway.
