Pune police have made two additional arrests related to the alleged swapping of blood samples in the Porsche car crash case, according to a top police official on Tuesday. These arrests late Monday night bring the total number of detained individuals to nine in relation to the incident.

The high-end vehicle, reportedly driven by a minor under the influence of alcohol, fatally struck two motorbike-riding IT professionals, including a woman, in Pune's Kalyani Nagar area during the early hours of May 19.

The Pune Police Commissioner, Amitesh Kumar, confirmed that the blood samples of two minors present in the vehicle were swapped with those of the newly arrested individuals, one of whom is a father of a minor. The boy's father, a prominent builder, along with his parents, doctors, and other middlemen had previously been detained for their involvement.
