Union Minister Backs Governor’s Action Against Karnataka CM in MUDA Scam

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Saturday endorsed Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot's action against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the MUDA site allotment scam, deeming it justified.
Addressing the media, Joshi stressed that individuals in high positions must uphold the law and Constitution. He affirmed that the governor's approval for the prosecution of corruption charges against the chief minister was appropriate and necessary.
Joshi highlighted that the investigation would be conducted by either the Lokayukta or local authorities and called for Siddaramaiah's full cooperation. He reflected on former Chief Minister Yeddyurappa's resignation on moral grounds amid allegations and suggested Siddaramaiah should also step down.
