A tragic incident unfolded in Jhalawar district as 25-year-old mechanic Satyanarayan Gurjar was brutally beaten to death on Friday night. The assault by around 8-10 individuals involved sticks, iron rods, and sharp weapons. This violent act stemmed from an old enmity, police revealed on Saturday.

Gurjar, a resident of Deveriya village, was returning home in a car with his friends when they were intercepted. The attackers pulled Gurjar out of the vehicle and began the fatal assault while his friends managed to escape. Although Gurjar was rushed to a nearby government hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
