Seven Arrested for Exam Malpractices in Bihar Police Recruitment Test
Seven individuals have been arrested in Bihar on Sunday in connection with alleged fraudulent activities during the state police constable recruitment exam. The Central Selection Board of Constables is conducting the exams for over 21,391 vacancies which began on August 7 and will conclude on August 28.

In Bihar, seven individuals were apprehended on Sunday due to suspected malpractices during the state police constable recruitment examination, according to an official statement. Among those detained were four candidates who were subsequently booked.
Law enforcement also identified eight other candidates involved in fraudulent activities during the Sunday exam session. While four candidates were caught at examination centers, five were dismissed for discrepancies in their documents. Those in custody include two from Begusarai and one each from Kaimur and Gopalganj districts.
The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) is overseeing the recruitment exam for various police units, including the special armed force. The exams, which aim to fill 21,391 positions, started on August 7 and will run until August 28. On Sunday, around 65 percent of the anticipated 17.87 lakh candidates took the test. Additionally, three individuals in Sheikhpura were detained for similar malpractice offenses, with police recovering mobile phones and ATM cards from their possession.
