Anti-corruption vigilance officers in Odisha have uncovered extensive assets linked to a senior excise department officer, Rama Chandra Mishra. This discovery includes 52 plots and six multi-storey buildings.

The raids were conducted after complaints suggested Mishra's property holdings exceeded his known income sources. The team comprised 10 DSPs, 15 inspectors, and other staff raided ten locations related to Mishra.

In addition to the buildings and plots, officials found approximately 230 grams of gold and other valuables. The vigilance department is now assessing Mishra's investments in shares, mutual funds, and insurance deposits. More discoveries are anticipated.
