Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday accused policymakers of neglecting the state's indigenous population, leaving them behind economically.

Soren was speaking at an event in Noamundi, West Singhbhum, where he inaugurated and laid foundations for 96 development projects worth over Rs 201.83 crore, while distributing assets worth Rs 103.41 crore among beneficiaries.

He paid floral tribute at a memorial for statehood agitators killed in the 1980 Bihar Police firing.
