Gautam Buddh Nagar ACP for Law and Order Shiv Hari Meena conducted a comprehensive foot patrol at inter-state and inter-district borders to review security arrangements for the ongoing Kanwar Yatra and the Savan month.

The Gautam Buddh Nagar Police coordinated with their counterparts in Delhi and Ghaziabad to bolster security measures. ACP Meena, along with Noida DCP Ram Badan Singh, Central Noida DCP Suniti, Traffic DCP Yamuna Prasad, and DCP Anil Yadav, inspected security setups at key locations in the Noida zone, including Kalindi Kunj, Chilla Border, and Lal Kuan, according to an official statement.

Police officers were accompanied by anti-sabotage and bomb disposal squads and local intelligence officials. "Ensuring a safe and smooth journey for all Shiva devotees during the Kanwar Yatra is our top priority," Meena stated. Monitoring of traffic control measures was also part of the review. The ACP informed reporters that multi-layer arrangements had been made, emphasizing coordination with the Ghaziabad and Delhi police to ensure proper law and order.
